The ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam is the latest and greatest in ZAFT’s Mobile Suit technology. As seen in the closing chapters of Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny, the ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam is a further development of the ZGMF-X56S Impulse Gundam. ZAFT swapped out the Silhouette System for a single, vast loadout designed to fit any scenario. The ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam uses the latest Voiture Luminere propulsion system mounted inside an improved version of the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam‘s wing system. This combination grants the ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam immense maneuverability and creates the iconic Wings of Light effect.
