As the 19th century fades, Europe’s monarchies face growing challenges to their authority in an era of rapid change. From King Frederik’s court in Saxony to the aging reign of Queen Victoria over the British Empire’s distant lands, political powers are shifting. New movements and ideologies rise, and as an ambitious entrepreneur, you must cultivate alliances within these courts to secure your influence in the nuclear revolution.
The Court of Progress expansion introduces a dynamic Court mechanic that transforms how you interact with the political landscape. Assign your Workers as Politicians to various Parties, each offering immediate rewards like Thaler, Action Tiles, Victory Points, and Achievement Tokens. Compete for Party leadership to unlock exclusive scoring opportunities, especially during the King’s Day phase where the Dominant Party leader scores agendas twice—raising tension and competition among players.
This expansion also adds brand-new Experiment boards, expanding the game world and providing fresh challenges. Use Special Chaining Tiles to perform up to three Actions per turn, increasing tactical possibilities and gameplay excitement. The new Contracts, Action Tiles, and Party Scoring Agendas ensure that every game feels fresh and encourages players to adapt their strategies dynamically.
Court of Progress seamlessly integrates with the base Nucleum game and can be combined with the Australia expansion, giving you flexible options to enhance your game experience.
